Departing from either Queenstown on-board a luxury coach, sit back, relax and take in the stunning location on one of the most scenic drives in New Zealand along Milford Road, while enjoying on-board commentary and various photo stops along the way.
Upon reaching Milford, you'll take a relaxing cruise on board the spacious vessel which boasts fantastic outdoor decks and indoor lounges specifically designed to optimise your viewing experience.
To ensure you experience the very best of Milford Sound on the day, your knowledgeable skipper has planned each trip based on the weather and recent wildlife sightings. As we cruise the full length of the Fiord you'll witness the majestic beauty of Milford first hand while we cruise right up close to grand waterfalls and sheer rock faces, and discover local wildlife such as dolphins, seals and, in season, the rare Fiordland crested penguins.

Highlight of our trip
Early morning start from ZQN on the bus to Milford. The bus will stop in Te Anau for a quick toilet / rest break and make little stops along the way to get some great photo ops. Commentary from the driver as we drive along too which was great to learn about the area / landmarks. Milford was breathtaking, absolutely stunning scenery and landscapes. The boat cruise was highly enjoyable too, staff on board were friendly. Took snacks with us which I highly reccomended doing. We went on a really beautiful day but would love to come back again when it’s raining. Highly recommend this trip!!

Milford Sound coach and cruise
I had an amazing time it was such a beautiful experience. Our driver Brandon was great, he was kind and helpful. He had great commentary and I even learnt a few things. I would recommend booking this.

Wonderful day-tour to Milford Sound
The weather was great on the day of the trip. Our driver and tour guide Chao explained a lot of knowledge along the way. We stopped at many scenic spots on the way to Milford Sound and took us to appreciate the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend friends who can't drive themselves to sign up for this day trip
